Vinícius Bivar is an Assistant Professor of Modern History at the University of Brasília. He earned his doctorate in History from the Freie Universität Berlin with a project on the foreign policy of the Third Reich for Latin America, a study supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). In addition, Vinícius writes and provides commentary for academic and non-academic outlets on the history and politics of contemporary far-right movements in Europe and Latin America. Vinícius holds a BA in History from the University of Brasília and an MA in Modern European History, Politics, and Society from Columbia University.
